Piso WiFi is a coin-operated internet vending machine. Customers insert Philippine peso coins to buy a fixed amount of internet time. The machine broadcasts a WiFi signal - customers connect, coins drop in, browsing starts.
How Piso WiFi Works
The machine runs a small router with custom firmware. When a customer inserts a coin, the firmware grants them internet access for a set amount of time based on the denomination. The operator configures pricing, time limits and features like Pause Time through the admin panel.
Most machines in the Philippines run one of three major firmware platforms: LPB Piso WiFi, Vendo WiFi or a generic Chinese OEM firmware. Each has a slightly different admin interface but the same basic principles.

Common Piso WiFi Problems and Fixes
Admin page does not load. You are not connected to the machine's network. Check your WiFi connection and make sure you are on the correct network, not your home router or mobile data.
Login rejected. The password was changed during setup. Hold the reset button on the machine for 10 seconds to restore factory defaults.
Customers cannot connect. Check that the machine is powered on and the WiFi is broadcasting. Restart the machine by unplugging and replugging the power cable.
Coins accepted but no time given. The coin sensor may be miscalibrated. Access the admin panel and check the coin settings, or contact your hardware supplier.
