How to Log In to a Netis Router
- Connect your device to the Netis router's WiFi. The default SSID is usually "netis" followed by random characters. Check the sticker on the bottom.

Changing Your Netis WiFi Password
- Log in to the admin panel via netis.cc or 192.168.1.1.
- Go to Wireless > Wireless Settings.
- Find the Password or Security Key field.
- Enter your new password. Use at least 8 characters with letters and numbers.
- Click Save. All devices disconnect and you'll need to reconnect with the new password.
Netis Firmware Updates
Netis releases firmware updates on their website at netis-systems.com. Download the correct file for your exact model, then upload it through System Tools > Firmware Upgrade in the admin panel.
Don't turn off the router during the update. A failed firmware update can brick the device.
Troubleshooting Netis Login
netis.cc doesn't load. You're not connected to the Netis router's network. Connect via WiFi first, then try again. If it still doesn't work, use `http://192.168.1.1`.
Forgot the admin password. Press and hold the Reset button on the back of the router for 8 to 10 seconds. The router resets to factory defaults. You'll need to set it up again.
Page loads but login fails. Someone already changed the default password. If you don't know it, a factory reset is the only option.
