TP-Link routers use `tplinkwifi.net` or `192.168.0.1` as their admin address. Older models use `admin` / `admin` as default credentials. Current models ask you to set a password during first setup.

- Open the app. It discovers your router automatically.

Deco devices don't use the web interface for initial setup. You need the Deco app.
- Download the TP-Link Deco app.
- Create a TP-Link ID (or sign in).
- Follow the in-app setup wizard. It walks you through placing units and naming your network.
- After setup, you can access advanced settings at `http://tplinkdeco.net` or `192.168.68.1`.
Troubleshooting TP-Link Login
tplinkwifi.net doesn't load. Connect to the TP-Link WiFi first. If you're on a different network, the domain won't resolve. Try `http://192.168.0.1` as a backup.
Forgot admin password. On newer models without a default password, you need a factory reset. Hold the Reset button for 10 seconds. On older models, try `admin` / `admin` first.
Wrong IP address. Some TP-Link models use `192.168.1.1` instead of `192.168.0.1`. Run `ipconfig` (Windows) or check your WiFi settings (phone) to find the correct Default Gateway.
Firmware update. TP-Link regularly publishes firmware updates. Check under System Tools > Firmware Upgrade in the admin panel, or update through the Tether app.
